PARC Fit run is running training for members of all running abilities, beginner to advanced. Develop and improve your running for 3km, 5km, 10km, half and full marathons. Our skilled trainers can help you to achieve any running goal with individually written and tailored programs. New members welcome at any time.

Meet our trainers

Chris Rich: Chris is an accredited Level 2 Recreational Running coach and started the PARC Fit Run group. She has been running for over 10 years competing in 1 marathon, 9 ½ marathons, 2 City to Surf’s and many other smaller events throughout the calendar year. Chris has led and motivated many members to achieve their running goals over the years.  Chris is available to plan individualised training programs for all fitness levels. 

Jay McGrath: Jay is a triathlete, runner and accredited coach. Jay coaches both triathletes and runners, has raced in every state of Australia, and has completed both the London and New York marathons. Jay is excited to help support PARC members to achieve their running goals. His focus with coaching is to build peoples enjoyment through improving their fitness levels and understanding of how their training can build performance, but always within the limits of their enjoyment. If it stops being fun, then it’s not worth it.

Nic Hough: Nic has been running for over 30 years and has competed in many running events, ranging from 10km to half marathons but significantly competing in her first Marathon at 42 years old. Nic has changed many lives of runners over the years, motivating, encouraging and inspiring people to take risks and set their goals high to achieve. Nic’s relationship with running frees the mind, makes you feel alive and gives you a sense of self-worth. No matter the reason for running there will always be a new trail to explore, another race to enter or simply a new morning to take in this beautiful neighbourhood. 

Training schedule

When:

  • Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:15pm - 6:15pm (meet in foyer area with your group exercise ticket)
  • Saturday mornings: 7:45am - Meet at Chelsea Bicentennial Park and join the PARC Team at "Parkrun". To join us, click here to register for free

Where: Group will meet at PARC and follow a designated route. Book in via the booking kiosks.

*Free for Complete members. A cost of $15 per session will apply for any Flexi member and non-member who would like to participate in PARC Fit Run.
